Publication by third parties
You may use the same title as the JFO-JorjaPedia pages but do not advertise Jorja Fox: Online, JFO or JorjaPedia without our written permission. This does not prevent you from giving credit for the work by name; as a matter of fact we very much appreciate all the credit we can get (this is a separate issue from author credit; see below). But it does legally prevent you from leading your readers to believe that your version of our work is in fact an official JFO publication.
Use on the Internet
For specifics read: GNU Free Documentation License
- Mention us as the source (not mandatory; but appreciated)
- Provide a functional link back to the either the JorjaPedia page or the main domain http://www.jorjafox.net (this satisfies the author credit requirement of our license).
- State that the text is available under the GNU Free Documentation License.
- Link to a copy of the GNU FDL license (preferably stored on your own server).
- Your version of the text must be machine readable (meaning you cannot prevent others from copying the text)
Use in hardcopy
Read: GNU Free Documentation License.
Copyright Infringements
If you are the owner of content that is being used on the JorjaPedia without your permission, then please us via an email to the Webmaster. We will, of course, need some evidence to support your claim of ownership.
Please bear in mind that, by law, prior to subjecting this website with an infringement suit and having the ISP remove the material, an infringer is required to inform JFO of the situation and provide ten days in which the infringer must respond. The exact notice procedure is detailed and there must be substantial compliance for it to apply. In other words someone cannot just say, "this is copyright infringement, take it off" and slap us with a lawsuit.
In the vast majority of these requests, JFO promptly removes or edits the page in question as a good-faith service. Simply by removing the material in question, JFO and our ISP, LiquidWeb, are protected against any legal liability.
In the end, the only person who might be liable for any copyright infringement in the is the person who posts the information. So please, do not publish other peoples' work without permission.
