Who are you?

Main article: JorjaPedia:About Us

Staff JFO is ever changing. The one constant has been Ipstenu (formerly Athena).

Do you know Jorja Fox?

Not personally, no.

Where did you get some of your information?

Same place you do. The internet, newspapers, magazines, and so on. We have no super-powers.

Can you forward a message to Jorja?

No, sorry.

Is it true Jorja Fox reads this site?

Sort of. She knows we exist, she's been known to skim the site, but it would be an exaggeration to say she reads JFO regularly.

Who are your affiliates?

What's the difference between your blog and the JAA?

Think of the blog as the newsfeed, where we post just news, and the LiveJournal as the community where any member can post and chat. It's like an unstructured forum.

Why aren't you a Fanlisting site?

Fanlistings started up around 2000 with TFL, at which point we'd already been around for a couple years, so there was no need for us to become an official fanlisting. It's not to say we're better or worse than a fan listing, but simply there was no draw to start one, and of course, now someone else has it covered.

How can I contact you?

Email webmaster@jorjafox.net

Can I send you news articles or pictures?

Yes, you can. Email them to webmaster@jorjafox.net and we'll get around to posting them.

What isn't allowed here?

Anything that's hateful, insulting and defamatory. Generally there's a way to add criticism without being mean, and we prefer that. While we do post reprints of tabloids, we clearly mark them as what they are. We request that information posted here also not infringe copyrights and fall under fair use.

Can I use the images or information from your site?

Since we do not, nor have we ever, claimed to hold copyrights for the images in the gallery, we can not permit images to be reused on non-personal websites. If you’re making your own website, you may use our images. If you are posting in a forum, you may use our images. You may not copy our images to corporate owned, for-profit or stringently copyright-run websites, including Wikipedia.

Why do you have Google ads?

This site costs around $300 a year to run, which includes our co-located webserver, maintenance and the server software we use behind the scenes. That's not counting incidentals like the equipment we use to digitally record, DVD purchases and software we use on our computers to generate content.

Why do you accept donations?

To defer some of the more outrageous costs. We were able to pay off the server overage fees we got in the summer of 2004, when Jorja was fired, only thanks to donations. But that doesn't just mean money. Sometimes people have copies of movies we've been unable to secure. Other times they have better screencaps than we do. We accept those donations as well. Check out the support page and help out if you're inclined.

How long has this site been around?

Since 1996. We've been on jorjafox.net since 2001.

What do you use to take screencaps?

Essentially we use VLC. How we get the media to the computer is another story. In the old days, we plugged a computer into the cable. Today, we plug our computer into the DVR.

What kind of Fan Stuff do you host?

Fan art and videos (the latter via YouTube).

Do you have nude pictures/video of Jorja?

No.

Why don't you have video and sound clips?

Bandwidth, space and copyright issues. Since we aim for breadth and depth of information, we decided that it was more feasible to provide screencaps and limited 'media' in exchange for more information.

That said, we do have video clips available via YouTube. You can find them at http://jorjafox.net/videos/.

Can you send me copies of the tapes you have?

Due to how much time and money it would take, we don't send out copies of the videos we have.

How come you don't recap everything in more detail?

We didn't used to because it was too much effort. Now we sort of do. Anyone who wants to expand an existing recap is welcome to it. We even offer some guidelines.

Will you link to my site?

Sure, email webmaster@jorjafox.net

You said you added my site. Where is the link?

We have 'contextual' links. That means we put links to other sites on the pages most appropriate. Looking for links for CSI? Check the CSI page.

I have a question that's not answered here. Who do I ask?

Well, that's tricky.

On one hand, email us. On the other, think about what you're asking for a little bit. We don't work for any TV company, so we couldn't tell you much about the characters. We also don't know everything about Jorja, so if we're not answering a question, odds are we don't know.

Basically, use your common sense.
